Understanding food from the farm all the way through to fork and beyond in to waste and re-utilisation is the essence of what I do. Sharing the stories of the  component parts of our food system and the people behind it, with the aim of building awareness. I am always in pursuit of good, real and honest food, learning more about the game-changers working within our food system and getting to know the producers on our doorsteps.

My Background

By training I’m a geologist, and fascinated by the world around us, in particular, natural resources. Food is a natural resource. How we manage and utilise our resources better, in the name of building just and sustainable systems, is absolutely crucial.

Until recently I worked in software consultancy, running projects, developing & advising on best practice and knowledge sharing. Now? I’m following my heart in pursuit of building sustainable systems in regard to food and resource utilisation.
