Want banana cake and want it now? Got no ripe bananas? Fear not, this little tip will help you and you'll have your banana cake fix in no time!
Preheat the oven to 150C / 300F / Gas Mark 2
Place as many bananas as you require on a baking tray - it's best not to use completely green bananas, we want yellow for this, bananas that are on their way to ripening but need a little kick!
Put the bananas in the oven for an hour
Leave them to cool a little before opening them up and using - to speed things up, put them in the fridge
